Seniors Program

Elders hold an honored position within Quileute society. They are the living threads to our past. Their health and welfare are of utmost importance to the community. Our Seniors Program through Title VI Grants and DSHS OAA grants, help improve the health, welfare and quality of life of our elders.

Our program provides a well-balanced meal on weekdays that meets one third of the R.D.A. (recommended dietary allowance) to tribal seniors (ages 50 and older and their spouse/significant other in both congregate settings or through a home delivery system when necessary. We are provide information and referral to services for tribal elders and their caregivers, rides as needed, limited financial supports, light chore work, case management services, and follow all objectives and statements submitted in the Title VI application.

Senior Center

Hours of operation:

    • Monday – Thursday, 10:00am – 6:00pm
    • Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

Meals:

    • Dinner at 4:00pm
    • Brunch Friday at 12:00pm

Transportation Services:

    • Call (360) 374-6040 for pick-up, home delivery, doctor’s appointments, and post office. Staff will assist with transporting when able.
