Public Works

The primary function of the Public Works department is Water. We are currently providing 85,000 gallons of water per day to approximately two hundred La Push customers.

Federal Service Line Inventory Requirement:

Federal Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) requires water systems to prepare and maintain an inventory of service line materials. Following EPA Region-10 Service Line Inventory guidance, Quileute Public Works conducted a Lead Service Line Inventory compiled from as built blue prints between 1995-2009. Survey results confirm there are NO LEAD SERVICE LINES in the Quileute water distribution system.

12 Month Water Quality Report:

When Congress passed the 1996 Safe Drinking Water Act amendments the EPA was given the mandate to require public water systems to provide each customer with a water quality report every 12 months.

We are pleased to report that our drinking water is safe and meets federal and state requirements!
