Special Thanks to Sterling Savings Bank:

We would like to thank Sterling Savings for their generous contribution of $1,000 toward our Youth Program. This donation will go toward purchasing much needed supplies at the Youth Center.

Sterling Savings also donated some used computer systems which will be refurbished and installed at the Youth Center.

Special Thanks also to Darryl Obi:

As part of his Senior Project, Darryl held a lunch fundraiser to raise money for the Youth Center (Blue Shed). Over $500 was raised! Thank you Darryl, the money will go toward purchasing supplies for the Blue Shed.

Repair & Renovation Assistance Program (RRAP2):

Our RRAP is currently out for bid. The Repair and Renovation Assistance Program assists tribal members with home repairs and renovations. We have been fortunate to receive assistance from the Tribal Council to continue this program.

Siding Replacement:

The Siding Replacement Project is on-going. Our goal is to replace all of the old wood siding in our Quileute Heights units and seven of our Raven Crest units with new cement board siding.

Department of Energy Grant:

The Dept of Energy allocated a grant to the tribe recently that allowed us to install woodstoves into ten tribal homes. We are working toward securing additional funding for projects like this to provide woodstoves to more tribal homes. If you are interested in receiving a woodstove in your home (and an enrolled tribal homeowner), please contact the Housing Authority Office at (360) 374-9719 and request to be added to the list.

Sekiu Chimney Sweeps:

To promote fire safety in the home, QHA sponsored free chimney sweeps for homes in the village. Al Pelletier visited homes and provided this service. Chris Morganroth IV and the La Push Volunteer Fire Department also made their way around the village to do some of the chimney cleaning.
